Frontera Health was founded in 2023 by Amol Deshpande, a longtime investor and entrepreneur who had previously co-founded Farmers Business Network, after experiencing first-hand the challenges of accessing autism care for his own son. The company launched publicly in February 2025 alongside a $32M seed round to apply AI to clinical reporting and expand access to ABA therapy in rural America.
